Shaykh Junaid Kharsany was born in Durban, South Africa in 1975. He was blessed to complete the memorization of the Holy Qur’an at the tender age of fifteen.
Shaykh Junaid began his higher Islamic studies at the famed Madrasah ‘Arabiyya Islamiyya in Azaadville, South Africa and completed his formal education there in 1996. While there, he immersed himself in the study of Arabic, fiqh, hadith, the Qur’an, and all their related sciences.
