Malaysian Curry puffs

I made a huge mistake by frying them, they turned out extremely OILY! so my advice: Bake them please!

Ingredients

+   Puff pastry aprrox 4-5 sheets
+   1/2 kilo beef mince
+   2 large Onions (diced)
+   1 inch Cinnamon stick
+   2 Cardamoms
+   1 Clove
+   2 Tablespoon Baba’s Meat curry powder
+   Salt and some vegetable stock (powder)
+   Potatoes (diced)
+   Green peas

Method

  • Saute the onions with the spices.
  • Once fragrant, add the beef mince and cook for 20-30 minutes.
  • Add the meat curry powder, salt, veg stock, potatoes and green peas and stir until combined well.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes. Leave to cool.
  • Cut four large rounds from each pastry sheet. Place 1 tablespoon of the filling in the centre of each round. Fold pastry over to enclose filling, pressing edges together to seal.
  • Put them in the oven for 30-40 minutes on 180 degrees
