Oven Baked Samosa’s

Mince meat for samosa filling
Ingredients
Samosa filling
+ 1/2 kilo beef mince
+ 2 large Onions (diced)
+ 1 inch Cinnamon stick
+ 2 Cardamoms
+ 1 Clove
+ 2 Tablespoon Baba’s Meat curry powder
+ Salt and some vegetable stock (powder)
+ Potatoes (diced)
+ Green peas
Samosa skin
+ 50 Spring roll/popia skin
+ 2 Tablespoon Corn Starch
+ 5 Tablespoon water
Method for samosa filling
- Saute the onions with the spices.
- Once fragrant, add the beef mince and cook for 20-30 minutes.
- Add the meat curry powder, salt, veg stock, potatoes and green peas and stir until combined well.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes. Leave to cool.
Method for samosa folding
- In a small bowl, add water and corn starch, stir until it becomes a paste.
- Put the filling into the samosa skin, fold to close and seal with paste.
- If you want to bake them, preheat the oven to 180 degrees, 15 minutes before finishing (with samosa folding)
- If not, just deep fry them.
