This is an Islamic educational video for kids to teach them about Islamic morals. It is a very beneficial video mashaAllah. The theme is “I am Muslim” and the video starts of with a sing along by kids.

This lecture (By Hasan Ali) deals with practical ways of dealing with children starting from pregnancy and moving on to early childhood. It offers general principles of controlling children in the correct manner without harshness or leniency, which are all backed up from the Quran and Sunnah

Below is a short video outlining the steps of the prayer. The prayer being demonstrated is a 4 rek3aa (cycle) prayer such as Dhuhr, Asr or Maghrib. For parents teaching their children to pray, inshaAllah it will be useful.

This is episode 2 of the stories of the Prophets. This series is set in a very good environment for teaching children. Yusuf Estes sits down with a gathering of about 10 children and explains to the children in a very easy to understand way mashaAllah.

Below is the free online TV station - Al Jazeera Children Channel (JCC). It focuses on the 3-15 year age group. It is completely in Arabic so it is a good method for teaching you’re children the language of the Qu’ran - especially for parents living in the west.

Please note however that this channel is not strictly an Islam-based channel. In general however, the programming is family friendly insha Allah. A lot of the cartoons however, contain music.

The channel is powered by Islam Box. It is a new and exciting way to watch Islamic Television without purchasing and installing big satellites. In addition to this channel, they have many others - in English, Urdu, Arabic and languages (e.g. channels dedicated to dawah, Islamic lectures, Arab news etc).
